The Mark of Associative Economics
Associative economics is based on the idea that economic life is the responsibility of every human being in collaboration with humanity as a whole. It proceeds from what we think and do, rather than by way of abstract forces. Associative economics is about making this responsibility conscious and finding ways to give it effect in practical life.
On 29 September 1998, a Quality Guarantee Mark (see below) was established to promote an associative approach to modern economic life by raising awareness of the economics not only of one's own enterprise but also of the wider environment in which it is embedded. Association in this sense enhances the functioning and reputation of any enterprise using the Mark, at the same time as it furthers an associative approach to economic life more generally.
Registered in Switzerland and internationally, the Mark is the property of the Associative Economics Association, founded in England and registered in Switzerland.
Who can use it?
Any enterprise can apply for the Mark, whether its activity is commercial, industrial, agricultural, governmental cultural, humanitarian or financial, and regardless of its size, locality and domain of operation. (Those responsible for such enterprises are known as entrepreneurs.)
Annual Entrepreneurs Meeting
Each year the Associative Economics Association hosts a meeting of the Entrepreneurs in which their experiences are shared and the development of the Mark is reviewed.
How to become an
Enterprise?
The right to use the Mark is granted to any enterprise that fulfils its four Criteria and abides by the Rules governing its use. Workshops linked to this process are held in several languages and in different parts of the world.
